Our restaurant has been designed to ensure you can enjoy your dining experience while gazing over the magnificence of Lake Windermere and the majestic Langdale Pikes.

Our Head Chef is extremely passionate about food. His style is classic modern British with a twist. He offers a wide selection of exciting menu’s which will infuse the best of Lakeland ingredients from our kitchen garden to our own farm fields. The food is created with combinations of exciting taste – bud popping flavours while relaxing to the stunning tranquillity of the Lake views.

Fine food needs to be enhanced by the right wine selection. Our list is comprehensive and each wine is individually handpicked and is our belief the list is interesting and eclectic as well as featuring old school classics.

We offer a fabulous quintessentially English Afternoon Tea experience, which even the connoisseurs of Afternoon Tea wouldn’t be able to fault. In addition our Afternoon tea will change seasonally making the best use of the fresh, local produce, kitchen garden produce available to us.
Dainty little finger sandwiches embodying the traditional fillings, fresh baked scones with homemade preserves and gooey clotted cream. Cakes in all their glory- delicious and oozing with pleasurable flavours, all served on the finest bone china and accompanied by a fragrant cup of tea or a little glass of bubbles.

The Hotel Bar is open daily from 11am until late. Welcoming hotel residents and non- residents, the bar has cosy feel and wood burning stove and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy drinks with friends. We offer a wide selection of wines available by the glass, plus a good selection of spirits and beers. We are very proud of our extensive selection of hand crafted gins from throughout the UK. For those wishing to try something a bit different we also provide a wide selection of cocktails.

With cosy lounges and private dining rooms that can be reserved including the conservatory and dining room both with that special sun downers view of Lake Windermere. We are a fantastic venue for private parties of 8 up to 20 guests.

For larger events the main dining room maybe reserved for up to 80 guests. We also have opportunities of alfresco dining in the summer months for private parties. For large events the hotel can be reserved for sole occupancy for a real party atmosphere.
